Global Talent Visa:
The UK Global Talent visa welcomes skilled individuals in science, engineering, medicine, humanities, digital technology, and arts (including film, fashion, and architecture). It suits both established leaders (“Talent”) and emerging leaders (“Promise”).
The visa has no cap, requires no job offer, and offers a pathway to UK settlement. Dependent partners and children under 18 can also apply.
Requirements and Eligibility for UK Global Talent Visa
To qualify for the UK Global Talent Visa, you must meet the following requirements:
● Be 18 or older.
● Have an endorsement from an approved body or a prize listed in Appendix Global Talent: Prestigious Prizes.
● Meet general eligibility rules, avoiding grounds for refusal.
● Provide a valid TB certificate, if applicable.
Working in the UK with Global Talent Visa
The Global Talent Visa allows individuals to have a full right to work (including self- employment and voluntary work) but you will not be permitted to be employed as a professional sportsperson or coach. You are not required to meet a specific work quota, but some work is necessary if you plan to settle permanently in the UK. You can also study in the UK but cannot access public funds.
